NOTES FROM THE ROAD: INDIA AND BAHRAIN

Greetings from home. My five month journey back to the States ended with an appropriately long process getting there. We're talking 19 hours on planes, 22 hours of layover time and 4 countries...but alas, I made it and I'm slowly adjusting to life back in the Western world. My last few days overseas were spent in Mumbai, a city I loved way more than I thought I would. As well as in Bahrain, which had me witnessing snowing sand and ogling at street signs for Saudi Arabia and the stunning Grand Mosque just before dusk in the midst of Ramadan. I feel tremendously blessed to have seen and experienced all that I did the past two years and to finally be home with family, friends and familiarity. I hope life is well in your neck of the world
