WWII Posters

The Five Year Plan

My sister has big dreams of working for MSF someday and ultimately this project brings her to mind. The 5 Year Plan looks to be quite a good book with an equally good mission. It contains 32 screen-printed works by the same number of artists silk screened on khadi cotton. The book comes in an authentic hand-loomed jhola bag with a paper "literary supplement" explaining the significance of the bags. Best of all, profits from the book go to Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

Postcards To My Parents

If awesomer was a word I'd use it to describe the work of Carolyn Sewell. Her Postcards To My Parents project is a perfect blend of simplicity meets wit. Furthermore, her personal blog Pedestrian Typography is as visually delicious as....dare I say cupcakes for breakfast?

Best Mug Ever?

I'm not so sure I've ever asked for only half a cup of coffee, however, this mug is ridiculously adorable in so many ways. Half the coffee, but all the wit.
