Paper Creations: Sarah Bridgland

Sarah Bridgland's paper creations are a lot to look at, and in the best possible way. She creates collage sculptures from second-hand ephemera and other random fragments. Her entire collection is fabulously detailed.

I adore this cityscape stamp set from Twine. They have 4 different sets available, but this is my favorite by far.

Owl Switch Plate Covers

How fabulous and wild are these owl switch plate covers from Etsy shop Bright Color Art? We've talked about how much we love owls here before, so naturally I flipped when I saw these and couldn't wait to share!

Shapely Illustrations: Cristóbal Schmal

I came across the work of Berlin artist Cristóbal Schmal over on Drawn! and I just loved his Berlin map. All his work has a stunning, vintage tone.

You're Welcome: Mary and Matt

Plastic bags have really taken an emotional beating lately with the advent of everyone going green. While understandable and equally deserved, we can't forget how much we depended on them (before we knew better) and how polite they often were. Alas, I bring you You're Welcome, a book by Mary and Matt that showcases their collection of thank you shopping bags.

Peony Perfection: Molly Hatch

Peonies seem to be all the rage lately and it's no wonder, they're such a gorgeous flower! I adore these ceramics by Molly Hatch. They're imperfectly....well, perfect. I love the simple colors and and delicate lines.

Immersion: Robbie Cooper

Robbie Cooper’s photography series Immersion showcases portraits of children playing computer games. What makes the series especially interesting is the viewpoint of each image. Cooper shot his subjects square in the eye. I find these photographs both touching and a little heartbreaking.

Newlywed Map

Jordon Ferney created a truly great DIY for Project Wedding. The practice of marking one's travels on a map with pins is nothing new. But, Ferney's Newlywed Map is a clever take on that old idea. The article includes instructions for mounting the map nicely and resources for buying a variety of pins. I especially like Ferney's idea of marking not only where you've been but also where you want to go and where your friends have gone. I find everything about this project adorable.

Vintage Perfume Factice Displays

Flowers in the Air is a lovely blog of vintage perfume factice displays. According to Love Made Visible, the blogger discovered the bottles in her grandmother's basement and is now selling them. My grandmother used to collect perfume bottles (in smaller form) and I can't help but think how much she'd love these.
