Bamboo Bikes Studio

I've really been thinking about building my own bike lately. I think it could be a fun project collecting parts and eventually crafting my own ride. If I lived in the New York area, I can say I'd absolutely take advantage of the Bamboo Bikes Studio. The weekend-long workshop guides you through building your own bike, from bamboo nonetheless.

Their Mission: "Provide every cyclist the experience of building his or her dream bike from scratch, while advancing sustainable entrepreneurship and development through financing bamboo bike factories in Africa and South America."

It's a good one right? Building a bike is an arguably sustainable endeavor in its own right, but building it out of a natural product is even better.
