Rat Photography: Jessica Florence

Meet Bug, the cutest rat on the face of the earth. He's the pet of photographer Jessica Florence. She's an aspiring fashion photographer who practices her craft on Bug, who apparently is a cooperative subject. The Daily Mail has an adorable story of the two titled On the Rat-Walk and you can view Jessica's flickr page for more heart-melting examples of her talent.

Ohhhhh my god. That second picture is ridiculously cute. I'll never look at subway rats the same way ever again, ha!

Oh, these are so adorable! It almost make me want a pet rat--something I never imagined saying:) I love the one of him under the comforters--he looks so content!

I feel a tinge of sadness for for what I did to the rats in my laundry outside! But it was either them or me!

I'm not a big rat person, but I think these photos are converting me.

So I'm not sure if that's cute or a little creepy. Hmmmm . . . .

Eeeeep! So adorable! It's funny what a difference a teddy bear makes in making a rat appealing (instead of the NYC subway tracks, for example). :)

Oh good heavens- I usually can't stand the sight of those naked pink tails- but a teensy weensy teddy bear? C'mon! It's so Stewart Little!

oh my god that second photo is amazingly freakishly wonderful in an upsetting kind of way.

we used to (by this i mean my son) have two large rats and they were SO sweet and still i could never stop my tummy from going 'ummmm'

So so cute! I don't know how you get Bug to sit still, lie on his back and just fall asleep to take photos. He seems so relaxed and comfortable - tribute to you being a good 'rat-mum' (my brother likes to call me one). So here's so changing the way people see rats! They are incredible little gifts! I have my three boys, charlie, winston and rasputin! They always keep me entertained although I could never get them to pose like this! Tell me your secret! Love to bug! What a good-looking model he is too!
