Taking nearly two and a half years to complete,
Suzanis (Persian for needle) are a gorgeous palate of color and pattern. They come from Uzbekistan and are available through
L'aviva, an online trunk show. I want one (if not all of these) sitting pretty on my couch or hanging happily on my wall.

two years to make? yikes, i think i'd run out of patience making the thing. they are REALLY beautiful though...it's worth the time and care put into them.
It's amazing that so much work and love goes into those little bundles of beauty.
Like Valerie, I would never have the patience so I really admire all that care!
wow. these are so inspiring! i have been wanting a persian rug for ages. i had no idea it took that long to craft them. but it makes sense, since they are so beautiful.
