Newspaper Poems: Austin Kleon

What do you get when you take an old newspaper, a fresh Sharpie marker and the creative mind of Austin Kleon? His fabulously ingenious Newspaper Blackout Poems. They've received national praise and will soon be a HarperCollins book. His approach definitely reminds me of the magnetic fridge poetry, but it's still entirely unique and witty.

That's so cool! Thanks for sharing because I'm going to have to look it up now...or at least try it on my own!

Deceptively difficult to execute, I am guessing. Very cool!

What a great idea!
We had a lot of fun when I was doing some of my book folding projects. My daughter was nearby and so I read the top line of each page out loud as I folded the book. we had lots of laughs!
