The Butterfly Effect: Joseph Warren

Joseph Warren is an artist inspired by the "texture, detail and variety" of vintage maps, through which he finds a resemblance with magnified butterfly wings. His series titled 'The Butterfly Effect' debut in 2007 at the Medcalf Gallery in London's Exmouth Market. Each piece is created by hand from vintage maps and is absolutely stunning.

Really beautiful! I love how they are mounted on the wall too. Looks like they are hovering.
