Unclaimed Baggage Center

Scottsboro, Alabama is home to the Unclaimed Baggage Center. A store that sells lost and unclaimed luggage, as well as unclaimed cargo received from various freight lines. The store adds nearly 7,000 new products to their shelves everyday ranging from clothing to electronics. So that's where my lost luggage went!

The Modern Letter Project

The Modern Letter Project sets you up with monthly pen pals from all over the world. Pretty neat idea in my opinion. In there own words:
"Putting the snail back in mail: An international pen pal project for the modern world."
There really is something to getting snail mail.

Coolest Water Towers

I'm not sure what, but something inspired me to Google search artistic and creative water towers. In doing so I found the Kilgore Memorial Library of Nebraska website had an impressive compilation of photos and links to some of the countries most interesting water towers. Take a look for yourself: Artistic Water Towers.

There is also an entire site devoted to water towers with information and images at Water Towers of the World.

Goodwill...Online

I love shopping at Goodwill, The Salvation Army, or any other thrift store I can score a bargain at. Until recently, I had no idea Goodwill had an online auction website.

"Shopgoodwill.com is the first Internet auction site created and operated by a nonprofit organization. The site began in August 1999. It was created and is operated by Goodwill Industries of Orange County (Santa Ana, CA). Goodwills around the country sell a variety of collectibles, art, antiques and odds and ends on the site. Registration is free and shopping is open to the public."
I'll definitely be checking back frequently!
