That's how they have the books organized at Book Culture (formerly known as Labyrinth books) near me...although it doesn't look as nice without the spiral steps :)
If I had an awesome spiral staircase I would totally do this!
This is just GORGEOUS. Currently all my books are stacked on a utility shelf in my storage room - I miss living and breathing them!
