With the growing popularity of the MP3, album art may someday be a thing of the past. In recognition of the often impressive art form, Smashing Magazine has compiled a list of 35 Beautiful Music Album Covers.
Wow what a great list! I've never even seen the Coldplay 'Viva La Vida' album, so deeply entrenched in the world of iTunes I am. Also love the Radiohead 'Hail To The Thief.' I'm really surprised they didn't include Yo La Tengo's 'And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out.' One of my fave album covers of all time: http://www.matadorrecords.com/images/fullsize/ole-371.jpg
