Wall Cleat: Karl Zahn

In my eyes, the Wall Cleat is pure genius. Designer Karl Zahn's answer to the question, "What use is an electrical plug when your not plugged in?" A truly innovative blessing for the neat-freaks and cord-tangle haters out there.

Hyper-Realism: Ron Mueck

I was floored by the work of artist Ron Mueck. He is a hyper-realist sculptor working out of Great Britain. The Washington Post has a slide show of his pieces available for viewing here.

What If...

David Goss and Phoebe Coulton's blog is in my opinion sheer brillance. What If... is their collection of thoughts and ideas pertaining to the question "what if they..." and it's worth a look. Clever, entertaining, and thought provoking. Enjoy!

Ephemeral Art: Wooster Collective

I love street art in all its forms. Well, mostly all its forms. When done well and done for the right reasons it can make a statement and spruce up a drab wall or buildings. At the Wooster Collective they've dedicated their site to showcasing "ephemeral art placed on streets in cities around the world." There is some incredible work show cased from around the world.

People and Their Shoes: Ellen Ugelstad

Ellen Ugelstad took to the streets of San Fransisco to photograph people and their shoes for her project appropriately titled People's Faces and Their Shoes. Simple and undoubtedly fun to look at.

Earth Album: See The World In Your Underware

Earth Album is an incredible interactive website made possible thanks to Goodgle Maps and Flickr. The site allows you to click just about anywhere on a map of world and view stunning pictures from that location. The photos are taken from the top Flickr images so they update often. I spent a good hour playing around on the site. The Czech Republic and Faeroe Islands were among my favorites. Check it out and enjoy your trip!

Faces in Places is a "photographic collection of faces found in everyday places." Adorable to say the least. I will be keeping my eyes peeled for faces everyday after seeing this.
