Double Takes is where destination and design meet. Upon launching back in 2007, it was an all encompassing archive of things found, things enjoyed and things shared. Today, the majority of the content published here focuses on the undeniable relationship between design and travel. There's a bit about my personal travels sprinkled in, as well.

I’m an American currently traveling South East Asia, by way of Chicago. I’m a collector of maps, passport stamps and freckles. I'm a writer who can't spell and a traveler terrified of flying, but I get by. As the great Bowie once said, "I don't know where I'm going, but I promise it won't be boring."
